    December 17, 2024 - WSCUC

Amy Wallace joined the agency as vice president, effective December 2, 2024. She will support a portfolio of member institutions and on special projects to promote quality and improvement at WSCUC institutions.

Wallace brings extensive experience in accreditation, having served as ALO at two California State University campuses for a combined 14 years. She has participated in peer review teams for a range of WSCUC institutions and shared her expertise at WSCUC’s Accreditation Resource Conference (ARC) as a presenter, facilitator, and panelist.
In her previous role as associate vice president, academic excellence and ALO at CSU Sacramento, Wallace collaborated with campus leadership on the development of new programs and concentrations, modified curriculum to ensure alignment with institutional goals, and planned for new academic sites. Earlier Wallace held multiple leadership roles at CSU Channel Island, including associate vice president for academic affairs, ALO, and dean. Wallace served as librarian at UC San Diego, Claremont College, and Chapman University earlier in her career.

“We’re delighted that Amy, with her deep understanding of accreditation across varied institutions and her system and service orientation, has joined the WSCUC team,” said President Jamienne S. Studley.

Wallace earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in history from CSU San Diego and a master’s in library and information sciences from CSU San Jose.
